- Authentication Data: Social login identifiers (Google ID, Facebook ID, Instagram ID, Twitter ID)

- Purchase History: Transaction records, payment details, order history
- Communication Data: Email correspondence, support tickets, forum posts, comments
- Usage Data: Activity logs, preferences, session data
- Marketing Data: Newsletter subscriptions, drip sequence enrollments, email preferences
3. Data That May Be Retained
For legal, security, and business purposes, we may retain certain information even after a deletion request:
CRITICAL: Purchase and Order Records
All purchase and order records will be retained permanently and will NEVER be deleted. This includes transaction details, payment information, order history, course enrollments, and related financial documentation. This retention is necessary for legal compliance, tax purposes, dispute resolution, and business record-keeping requirements.
Additional data that may be retained:
- Fraud Prevention: Records of fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Dispute Resolution: Data related to unresolved legal disputes
- Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted during the next scheduled purge (within 90 days)
- Aggregated Data: Anonymous, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you
- Legal Obligations: Data we're required by law to maintain

4. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through the following methods:
Method 1: Through Your Account Settings

- Click on "Delete Account" or "Request Data Deletion"
- Confirm your request by entering your password
- You'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours

Method 3: Social Login Data Deletion
If you signed up using a social login, you can also request deletion through:
- Facebook: Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove App → Request Data Deletion
- Google: Google Account → Data & Privacy → Delete a Google service → Third-party connections
- Instagram: Through Facebook's settings (Instagram is owned by Meta)
- Twitter/X: Account Settings → Apps and sessions → Revoke app access
After removing our app from your social account, we recommend also requesting deletion through our platform to ensure all data is removed.
5. Data Deletion Timeline
We process data deletion requests according to the following timeline:
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated immediately upon request confirmation
- Within 24 hours: You'll receive an email confirmation of your deletion request
- Within 7 days: Active data will be permanently deleted from our primary systems
- Within 30 days: Data will be deleted from our secondary systems and logs
- Within 90 days: Data will be deleted from backup systems during scheduled purges
You will receive email notifications at key stages of the deletion process.
6. Verification Process
To protect your account security, we must verify your identity before processing a deletion request:
- If you can log in: Confirmation through your account is sufficient
- If you cannot log in: We'll send a verification email to your registered email address
- If you no longer have access to your email: Contact our support team with government-issued ID
- For social login accounts: We may verify through the social platform's authentication
This verification process typically takes 1-3 business days.
7. Consequences of Data Deletion
⚠️ Important: Deletion is Permanent
Once your data is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will permanently lose:
- Access to all courses and content
- Course progress, certificates, and achievements
- Store credits, points, and purchase history
- Saved preferences and settings
- Community posts and interactions
- Any subscription access or benefits
Subscriptions: Active subscriptions will be cancelled, but you may not receive a refund for unused time.
Re-registration: If you want to use our services again, you'll need to create a new account. Your previous data, progress, and purchases cannot be recovered.
8. Alternative: Account Deactivation
If you're unsure about permanent deletion, consider temporary account deactivation:
- Your account and data are preserved but not accessible
- You can reactivate at any time by logging in
- Subscriptions will be paused
- Deactivated accounts may be automatically deleted after 2 years of inactivity
To deactivate instead of delete, select "Deactivate Account" in your account settings or mention this in your email request.
9. Data Portability Before Deletion
Before requesting deletion, you have the right to request a copy of your data:
- Request your data export through account settings or via email
- You'll receive a download link within 7 days
- Data is provided in JSON and CSV formats
- Includes all personal data, course progress, and transaction history
- Download link expires after 30 days
We recommend downloading your data before submitting a deletion request.
10. Third-Party Data Deletion
When you delete your account, we will also:
- Remove your data from our email service provider (unsubscribe from all lists)
- Delete your payment information from our payment processor
- Remove tracking data from analytics platforms
- Revoke API access tokens for social login services
However, please note:
- We cannot delete data stored by third-party social platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- You must separately manage your data in those services
- Some third-party services may retain logs independently of our systems
11. Canceling a Deletion Request
If you change your mind after submitting a deletion request:
- You have 7 days from the initial request to cancel
- Contact us immediately at privacy@graceunworthy.com
- Include your request ID (provided in confirmation email)
- After 7 days, the deletion process cannot be reversed
